Video Content Community

The Video Content Community

We open social media and come across a lot of videos. While some just hook us up and hold our attention span for the whole video, some lose us mid-way to a scroll. What could the main difference between the two kinds be? Your analysis may give you various reasons that can be safely boiled down to two things: 1. They educate us/make us curious, 2. The video is easy on our eyes. But how does one know what appeals to the scrollers? That is what the Video Content Community helps you figure out.

With experienced videographers with a friendly demeanour, delivering interactive in-person workshops, Video Content Community trains you to figure out your best social media practices. If you are a small business owner, a charity trustee, or an employer seeking to train your own video marketing team based in London and Bedfordshire, UK, you are just a click away from doing what you desire. Monthly Workshop:

The monthly workshop delves deep into various aspects of video marketing, like storytelling techniques, videography techniques, understanding the platform you post on and so on. This series of workshops is perfect for you if you want a deeper understanding of various aspects of video content creation, like a sense of community, and want to learn things deeply at your own pace. Like the name suggests, this series of 12 workshops is conducted on the first Wednesday of every month starting from July, discussing a unique aspect in every session.

The following are the 12 aspects of video marketing that will be addressed in the 12 sessions:

  1. Crafting compelling stories:

A story’s impact lies more in how you tell it than in what you tell. Why are we sometimes attracted to some videos and not others, even when they are saying the same thing? This workshop teaches you the art of compelling storytelling.

  1. Filming techniques:

Between a video barely showing the speaker’s face, and a video that looks crisp and organised, what would you choose to watch if the content is identical? How you depict what you say is just as important as how you say it. In this workshop, you will learn various filmmaking techniques from angles to shots.

  1. Proper and suitable lighting:

Would you prefer a video about resumes if it is filmed under disco lights? Or a horror movie review in a brightly lit room? Selecting the proper lighting sets the tone of your video, and you will learn exactly that in this workshop.

  1. Capturing sound:

A beautifully filmed video with breeze noises and car honks, doesn’t that sound like a nightmare? A video loses its impact when people can’t even make out what you are saying. Your videos sound as beautiful as they look by the end of this workshop.

  1. Filming testimonial:

In this workshop, you will use everything you have learnt in the previous workshops to film your story, or your clients’ feedback or a beneficiary’s experience that another potential beneficiary could relate to, or that could move a philanthropist.

  1. Video editing techniques:

“To err is human,” and we humans can’t get everything right in one take. And what fun is it if the whole video is shot only from the same angle? This workshop deals with using simple video editing software to produce clean videos and even add captions
